A climbers' heaven is flourishing along Sicily coast: San Vito Lo Capo. Next to Zingaro Reserve, a few minutes walk from a beach stretching for almost one kilometre, a sea of rock is waiting to be explored. This red limestone treasure is becoming, year after year, more and more popular amongst climbers from all Europe. Hundreds of routes and multipitches have been equipped along these ramparts dotted with stalactites, hollow sections and sculptures embroidered over the years by the sea, the wind and the salty air. A rich network of paths connects all the prominent sections of this area, reaching the Zingaro Reserve and the surrounding places, between the hills and the city, the seaside and the natural reserve.
