The 22nd annual Ice Climbing Ecrins event will take place from Thursday 12 January to Sunday 15 January in L’Argentière la Béssée (Department 05). The roads to the world-class ice climbing areas of Fressinières and the Fournel will be cleared specially for the event, allowing for easy access to this waterfall ice paradise.
What is Ice Climbing Ecrins? It’s workshops taught by mountain guides, a dry tooling competition, a climbing gear expo (with even more brands this year), and of course the famous Saturday night show.
The event is open to everyone. Ice climbing and mountain sports fans take note: you can already reserve this weekend in January for an event you’d hate to miss!
