
Young's competition won by Boscacci and Antonioli

The Pierra Menta is since 1985 one of best known races of the world, a kind of a legend competition of ski mountaneering in Areches Beaufort (Savoie) France.
The race track is to be completed in teams of two and it varies year by year in 4 manches, the athletes having to do a cumulative altitude difference of around 10000 meters, both ascending and skiing down.
The 25th edition was won in female cathegory by italians Francesca Martinelli e Roberta Pedranzini, for the forth consecutive time.
The men's competition was won by Florent Troillet from Switzerland and Kilian Jornet Burgada from Spain. At the second place Florent Perrier and William Bon Mardion from France and at the third place the italians Denis Brunod and Manfred Reichegger
In the young category, success of the italians Michele Boscacci and Robert Antonioli, followed at the second place by Filippo Righi and Francois Cazzanelli.
