NEW ICEFALLS IN VAL CODERA - CENTRAL ALPS
Rossano Libéra and Gabriele Del Curto explore a new area
Last year, Rossano Libéra and Gualtiero Colzada, Alpine Guides from Novate Mezzola, solved the problem of famed Mostro (Monster) di Sivigia , 5/6 hours far away from the parking lot, in remote glacial cirque of Sivigia.
This year, together with Gabriele Del Curto, Rossano Libéra climbed Principessa di Valorch 210 m WI 4+, in the Valorch narrow valley and, few days later, one of the most difficult of the region, La Matita (The Pencil) 140 m M5+ WI 6/6+.
"I'm psyched just pronouncing its name - Rossano says - "the photo taken by "Principessa" tells more than many words."
Then the duo climbed La Val di Cercet WI 4+ 135 m, a nice icefall that is very seldom in good conditions.
