VALTOURNENCHE ICEFALLS: PROBABLY NEW ASCENT
La Gola dei Magri by Sertori and Plano
Mario Sertori and Stefano Plano carried out a probably new ascent in Valtournenche (Val d’Aosta – Italy) climbing the narrow icefall near and below the famed Heimdall.
La gola dei magri (The gully of the skinnies) is a nice 20 meters free-standing followed by a narrow and steep gully, deeply embedded in the rock.
