The Alex Huber's route in Loferer Alm

Austrian climber David Lama and Hansjörg Auer have completed the first repeat of Feuertaufe (5 pitches, 8b), the route opened in the summer of 2008 by the German Alex Huber on the 200 meters south wall of Sonnwand, located over the Tyrolean village of Lofer.
Lama and Auer propose a valuation of 7a +, 8b, 7c +, 6b, 7a, 7c +, 8a (originally: 7c, 8b +, 8a +, 6b, 7b +, 8a+, 8a+).

Huber has established the route with the Tyrolean Guido Unterwuzacher without any patrol from above, looking to adopt a style as clean as possible and using few protections.
The result is a classy route on high quality limestone, always slightly overhanging, where the mental aspect of climbing is predominant: in fact on the crux, you can make falls more than 12 meters, and the situation is almost the same in the other pitches.
