Il 29 gennaio Greg Boswell e James Dunn hanno portato a termine la seconda salita in libera di Don’t Die of Ignorance su The Comb al Ben Nevis in Scozia. L’itinerario era stato aperto nel Febbraio 1987 dai celebri britannici Simon Yates e Andy Cave e valutato VI/6 /A2.
Nel marzo 2008 Dave MacLeod accompagnato da Joe French riesce, dopo sei tentativi, a liberare Don’t Die of Ignorance e la valuta XI/11 la più difficile linea invernale della montagna.
