Bayes Wilder has climbed Southern smoke, 8c+, at 10.
Bayes climbs in Red River Gorges and it is already record. In just six attempts he has climbed Southern smoke, a really famous 8c+ in RRG, becoming the younger climber ever on the grade. We already talked about him before but this time…
135 cm ta, Bayes choses the lines because of the rock’s morphology. He came in RRG with the idea to try Southern smoke and Lucifer, classical lines on the grade. He has chosen the first one because of the variability of the rock, full of different betas.
After some days of easy climbing for tasting the rock, he finally found the feeling and the rest… is history!
