On 2 and 3 March 2012 climbers Maurizio Panseri, Daniele Natali and Alessandro Ceribelli have managed the 1st winter ascent of via Direttissima on the north wall of Western Presolana (Alps Orobie).
The route was opened in 1972 by Livio Piantoni and Rocco Belingheri with Fantini and Correnti in 3 days, with traditional pitons and if climbed free has difficulties up to 7a.
