10 Feb Brunello Crossing

The 2018 edition of Brunello Crossing takes place on February 10 and 11 in Tuscany (IT).

The Brunello Crossing is a trail running event including three races: 44 km, 23 km and 13 km. It starts from the Fortress of Montalcino, a fourteenth-century castle built in the highest part of the homonymous medieval village, and runs through woods, vineyards (the famous “Brunello di Montalcino” wine), farms, ancient villages, in the fascinating natural environment of the Val d’Orcia Natural Park, part of the Unesco heritage since 2004.

Brunello Crossing is not just a race. There will also be a non-competitive 13 km walk, a guided tour of the cellars and numerous opportunities to taste and appreciate the high quality of local food products, to emphasize the excellent combination of sport, territory, food and wine…
