…and he opens an 8B+ right version.

Great repetition by Guntram Jörg of another unrepeated line by the legendary Fred Nicole!

In the Swiss area of Murgtal, Nicole opened Arzak this high, hard and controlling boulder which then remained unrepeated after the breaking a couple of holds…

A challenge and a success for Guntram who, after the ascent of Big Paw in 2011, thus sends his second 8C:

“Well – back to business of hard bouldering! First repeat after two holds broke off. Very physical boulder – the crux is linking all the moves. This line has everything: It´s hard, scary, long and good looking. Proud to climb something like this!”…here’s his comment on 8a.nu.

 
A few days before Arzak, Jorg also did the first ascent of Zakraz, 8B + starting in common but then climbing to the right to top on a jug on the wall.

With these results, in addition to two 8Cs, Guntram also has eleven 8B + in his career.
