Test of the new Grau 2.0 pants by Rock Slave, Ferrino brand dedicated to bouldering!
The project was developed thanks to the collaboration of the Turin climber Marzio Nardi, a name that needs no introduction for those who know the history of climbing and bouldering in Italy - not only - but also for the activities that today continues to put in field with constant enthusiasm to enhance both these sports and new locations dedicated to their practice.
The Rock Slave clothing line is entirely dedicated to bouldering: trousers, sweatshirts and accessories with an innovative design, versatile and suitable for any type of climbing, from the steps on the rock to the training activity on artificial structures up to the cliffs.
"Products that tell of days lost climbing, hours spent leafing through a guide or sweating their hands in front of a video - says Marzio - are just pants, sweaters and other little things that want to tell the stories of a totalizing passion that gives 25 years affect my life until I become a conscious and happy slave".
In this new line we tested the Grau 2.0 trousers.
The captivating design and the pleasantness of the deep blue color led us to wear it and use it immediately in the urban environment, where it was noted by friends. This pants does not disfigure at all in everyday life: it communicates in every context color, vitality, joy, sensations to be made every day, even in the absence of stone to caress!
The first time of the use in nature took place at the Passo San Giovanni in that of Nago on the boulders and on the streets of this historic climbing area of the great Sarca valley.
The trouser line is simple but refined at the same time, with details that make it beautiful to look at, innovative in cutting solutions but also performing in action.
Cotton is soft and made functional in the movement by using it in combination with synthetic fiber and elastane. The closure at the waist with button is effective, equipped with cord and loops. The front pockets have a triangle-shaped stretch insert that gives a fancy touch of class that is immediately observed.
There is also a pocket on the back on the right and another small side pocket on the left at the knee. The end portion of the leg is adjustable with an elastic cord, a detail that can be useful to those who use the boots during longer approaches.
The softness of the fabric and the ability to adapt to the most diverse movements (not only those required by climbing but also during the hike during a hike) are a strong point that has impressed us with the excellent and particular design. Adaptation and comfort we have verified them also with the use of the harness and tight leg straps, with a fabric that is undoubtedly soft and pleasant but that nevertheless guarantees strength.
