27 Jun Donnafugata at Torre Trieste (Dolomites) first redpoint in one day

 
It seems that on those days the routes of the famous pair Schäli/Heinz are becoming a true object of desire! As Magic Mushroom on Eiger North wall, even Donnafugata on Torre Trieste (Civetta-Dolomites) was redpointed, and in one single day: author of the performance Slovenian climber Andrej Grmovsek and few days later his partner Luka Kranjnc.
 
The route was first climbed on 2004 and on 2007 the 15th pitch was redpointed by Mauro Bubu Bole who suggested grade 8a.
 
Andrej Grmovsek e Luka Krajnc summited before midnight, completing the itinerary in one long day. Andrej Grmovsek is one of the best slovenian alpinists: on his curriculum lots of impressive ascents including the on sight of Divine Providence at Grand Pilier d’Angle the famous route of Patrick Gabarrou at Mont Blanc.
