Mountain Guide died on the Tour Ronde

An appreciated mountain guide and instructor of Courmayeur Mountain Rescue service, Alberto Cheraz, 53 years,  died on Sunday August 16 while accompanying a client on the Mont Blanc massif, on the north wall of the Tour Ronde  in France.

When rappelling, the rope was stuck in a crack, so he left the client safely tied at the belay and climbed up again  to free the rope. Maybe the rope moved a stone that caused the rockfall.
