09 Oct Alfredo Webber climbs Thunder Ribes, first 9a!

Good news from Arco di Trento where 48 years old Alfredo Webber did his first 9a doing Thunder Ribes.

Alfredo tried the route all this last summer and now was ready to try the good attempt. Last Saturday he returned to Massone and during the third go was able to dominate a terrible monofinger move but, amazed by this, fell to the next one and had to postpone the ascent of Thunder. Returned Sunday with the intention to workout again some passages, he find himself at the chain during the first attempt with a great astonishment and joy.

In Massone, Alfredo did some other great ascents in the past, like in 2016 where climbed Reini’s Vibes and did the first ascent of Stonehnge, both 8c/+.
