Oh Eun Sun left C3 at 7200 meters at 2.00 AM today towards Annapurna’ summit.
Leading the group of the Koreans, Kim Jae Soo who was hit by an avalanche between C1 and C2 on Annapurna last Friday and sustained some minor injuries in his arm.
Summiting Annapurna, Miss Oh could become the first woman to complete the 14x 8000ers serie. (UpClimbing 22 september)
Born in 1966, 155cm x 50kg, the Korean lady climber completed already the Seven Summits (the highest mountains of every continent: Vinson, Kilimanjaro, Everest, Puncak Jaya, Kosciuszko, Mont Blanc, Elbrus, McKinley and Aconcagua) and 13x 8000ers (4 – until now – on 2009).
