Bozeman Ice Festival 2014

The traditional Bozeman Ice Festival is taking place from December 11 to 14 in Bozeman, wich is situated in the US state of Montana and near Hyalite Canyon, an area wich is famous for its traditional ice and mixed climbing, now home to over 225 routes in a five square kilometre area, and also home to some of the hardest non-drilled dry tool routes anywhere, up to M12+. The Festival, which has been held in the U.S. state of Montana since 1996, from this year is part of the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup. The U.S. stop will launch the 2015 UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup season. Competitions will be held on a specially designed three-tower structure more than 15 meters high erected in downtown Bozeman. 8am to 12pm Lead difficulty prelim
12:30pm to 5pm Speed climbing prelim
7pm to 9:30pm Speed climbing finals
9:30pm – award ceremony

Saturday, December 13

10am to 4pm – Lead difficulty half finals
7 to 9:30pm – Lead finals
9:30 pm – award ceremony
