Nick Bullock and Andy Houseman have succeeded on one of the ‘great unclimbed faces” with their ascent of Chang Himal’s (a.ka. Wedge Peak) 1500 metre north face.
Chang Himal is located in Jongsang Himal (Nepal), a few kilometers north-west of Kangchenjunga and was ascended only once by a former Yugoslavia team via south side in 1974.
The north face was attempted in 2007 by Slovenians Ales Koželj and Mitja Sorn who retreated due to the bad conditions of the mountain.
