Cervino CineMountain, the highest international film festival in Europe, comes back to Valle d’Aosta (IT) from 4 to 12 August.
The event, at its XXI edition, takes place between Cervinia and Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn. Since the first edition, in 1998, the mountain is the true protagonist of the Festival, but the mountain is also the “pretext” to address issues closely related to it: the environment, the climate, adventure, sport, culture and history.
The focus of the event is the Competition Festival, which selects the best of mountain filmography by awarding the Grand Prix des Festivals – Conseil della Vallée, the “Oscar” of mountain cinema.
Among the guests of the 2018 edition: Claudio Chiappucci, Giovanni Soldini, Hervé Barmasse, Manolo, Kurt Diemberger.
