2009 september 24 at 11 am, Italian snowboarder Marco Galliano with 3 others members of the Mountain Kingdom expedition topped out Cho Oyu.
With the summiters, the manager of MK and Alpine Guide Cesare Cesa Bianchi: for him second time on summit.
Galliano performed the first Italian and the world third descente, carrying all his gear (35kg) without sherpas.
He kept the snowboard even in the difficult iced Yellow band (up to 50 degrees).
