Climbing – Paraclimbing World Championships 2021 – Moscow

From 15 to 21 September, Moscow hosts the 2021 World Climbing and Paraclimbing Championships.

More than 300 athletes from 41 countries all over the world will take part in the competition. They will compete in three disciplines: speed, lead and bouldering. Also the strongest paraclimbers will take part in the competition.

Races take place in the Russian capital at two venues. The main arena is the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace in Luzhniki. The qualifying rounds for boulders and paraclimbers take place in the CSKA athletics and football complex on Leningradsky Prospekt.

The World Championship will be one of the most important sporting events of the coming autumn. An impressive complex of climbing walls will be built especially for the competitions on the main arena of the World Championship, the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace.
