Cogne Ice Opening takes place in Cogne from Thursday, December 14 to Sunday, December 17.
The event is dedicated to all ice climbing enthusiasts. The meeting venue is, as usual, the area of Cogne (Aosta Valley-IT), known internationally for the many icefalls of all the difficulties.

Thursday, 14.12.2017
- 5 – 9 pm – Ice Apero at the Bar Licone, Cogne
Friday, 15.12.2017
- 8am – Ice Climbing, Ice Climbing & Drytooling Clinics with Guides from Beginners to Advanced skill levels. Meet at the Bar Cascate in Lillaz. Test-Gear is available for demo.
- 7pm – Frozen World book presentation. Stories about ice-climbing and mountaineering with international speakers at the Library in Cogne.
- 9pm – Pizza Dinner at the Bar Licone.
Saturday, 16.12.2017
- 8am – Ice Climbing and Clinics.
- 3.30pm – BBQ & Get-Together at the Bar Cascate in Lillaz.
- 8.30pm – Movie Night: All About the Ice. Stories, Athlete Presentations, Prize Draws, Happy Hour and more!
