The first lead Worldcup 2009 starts in front of more then 10.000 people in Chamonix. The Outdoor Competition runs very well and the weather was fine.
The speed gold medal goes to Edyta Ropek from Poland and Evgeny Vaytsekhovsky from Russia. In lead the winner of the Lead World Championship are also the winner of the first lead World Cup in Chamonix.
Patxi Usobiaga from Spain and Johanna Ernst from Austria made a perfect performance.
The next Lead WC will be in Barcelona
