On August 26, Ondra Benes of the Czech Republic redpointed The End Of Silence, the eleven-pitch 5.14a in Germany’s Berchtesgaden climbed the first time by Thomas Huber in 1994.
This is the second route that Benes has climbed of the "alpine trilogy": The End Of Silence, Silbergeier (5.14a) and Des Kaisers neue Kleider (5.14a). The other route is Silbergeier climber two years ago by Benes.
Only Stefan Glowacz and the late Harald Berger have completed all three.
