14 Nov Fabian Buhl, second ascent of Nirwana (7L, 8c+)

Fabian Buhl, during the realization of a new movie on Nirwana (7L, 8c+ max) attepts, realized unexpectedly the second ascnt of this wonderful multipitch opened by Alex Huber on the SonnWand south face.
"Still can not believe it, the day before yesterday I was able to make the first repetition of Alex Huber´s bold multi pitch route Nirwana 7. SL 8c+ on the Sonnwendwand at ‪Loferer Alm‬. I was attracted by the steepness of the wall and it´s dynamic and technical climbing. We just wanted to film some tries for a upcoming movie project, but now Stefan Schlumpf & Diego Defilla got the full ascent, so stay tuned for the movie and a detailed story, which will be released in the next weeks…

After the ascent of Silbergeier, we inteviewed Fabi about his projects for the future and it seems that for the young German talent, this is a very serious game now.
