27 Sep Serious accident to Kurt Albert

 
Kurt Albert, one of the most representative German climbers of the 80s and 90s, yesterday, September 26, had a serious accident on a via ferrata in  Hirschbach (40 km from Nurberg). For reasons not yet known, Kurt Albert  fall down from a height of 18 meters causing severe fractures.
 
His conditions are considered very serious, and even today, unfortunately, are not improved.
 
Kurt Albert, 56, has been a  protagonist, with Wolfgang Güllich of the evolution of modern free climbing , and the “inventor” of the “redpoint “or the practice of marking with a dot of red paint the routes that had been free climbed.
