Ice climbing in Gressoney valley

Still good conditions in  Gressoney valley
Bonne Année very frequently climbed (be prepared to queue during week ends)

Chandelle Mireille II/5, FA by Marco Conti and Mirella Becciu in the ’90s : this icefall is rarely formed and this year in good conditions. Very short approach. The second pitch is the crux and very aesthetic.
First belay: bolt on the right of the column,  second belay: bolt on the left. Third on a tree.

Ciampa is big and in good shape, exposed to the sun
Linea verde still climbable; very well formed Avanti Savoia.
Difficult Conto in sospeso is almost big as when first climbed by  Max Farina and Ezio Marlier.
Sigarorror very fat.
Lysbalma : not much ice
Lysbalma freestanding very nice.
