23 Aug Magnus Midtboe 9a+- Rodellar – Video

 
Magnus Midtboe just sent Ali Hulk 9a in Ali Baba cave  at Rodellar, then has done the extension of the pitch (stand start) 9a+ and succeeded in the link
 
Ali-Hulk sit start extension, 9b, was freed by Dani Andrada on 2006 and shows 85 moves on the roof of the cave.
So Magnus on his blog:
 

"Syper psyched to have done Ali Hulk Extension 9a+! Took me longer than any other route I have worked – therefore it feels extra sweet! It rained a lot yesterday so today it felt very humid. But I felt strong and managed to do it despite bad conditions. Now I’m working the sit start into it. We will rest tomorrow. (..). Working routes in the Ali-baba cave has definitely gotten me in shape. Yesterday I did two 8b’s onsight."
