10 Jul Malcolm Smith 9a’s FA

On 7th July, the British climber Malcolm Smith has succeeded in the first redpoint of Hunger at The Anvil in Scotland. 
 
"It ‘s slightly more sustained than Blood Diamond. I made moves harder on the blocks, but it is certainly my most difficult so far achieved." said Malcolm after Hunger first ascent.
A month ago he completed another first ascent of an 8c +.
In 1990, aged 17, had sent a  route  of 8c +.
Malcolm has a level of 8B + blocks and  in 2002 was second in the World Cup Bouldering
