Campo Imperatore is located in the National Park of Gran Sasso, in the region Abruzzo of Italy and is known as Italy’s The little Tibet.
The beautiful Vado di Sole is most difficult crag of the region: several routes from 6a up to 9a? and some hard boulders.
Here Matteo Cittadini sent at the 3rd go of the day La scarpetta di Cavalletto 8A+.
Matteo was born on 1990, son of the Alpine Guide Agostino. Start climbing at 17, he distinguished himself since the first year of competitions, winning at 18 years the Italian Cup Combined event U20 and the region Championship, then at 19 the Bouldering Italian Championship, 2nd in Lead and3rd in speed.
