In October and November of the last year, Mayan Smith Gobat and Libby Sauter realized a double new speed record on El Capitan in 5 hours and 2 minutes the first time and 4 hours and 43 minutes the second.
Here concentration, moving fast, coordination and risk are always 100% present and every aspect of climbing has to be planned perfectly. The route has to be learned step by step, the decision who goes first meditated and also the distribution of equipments must have its own logic.
