Oh Eun Sun retreats from Annapurna

Korean climber Oh Eun Sun called her Annapurna (8091m) second summit bid off , due to the high winds.
The ascent is postponed to the next spring, so as the female 14 x 8000ers competition.
In the mean time, spanish Edurne Pasaban announced in a press conference her next spring goal is Annapurna.
Nobody summited this year Annapurna: last april Nives Meroi and Romano Benet were forced back due to the bad conditions  so were Valery Babanov e Victor Afanasief , focusing a new route in the central part of the NW wall.
French Elisabeth Revol and Czech Martin Mlinarik summited the lower east summit (8021m), sadly Martin perished during the descente.
Annapurna is the most dangerous 8000es peak: the overall fatality rate is thus 41%, or four and a half times that of Everest’s overall fatality rate of 9%.
