The 10th edition of MIUT – Madeira Island Ultra Trail takes place on April 28 and 29.

MIUT – Madeira Island Ultra Trail provides an exciting challenge across Madeira island, from sea-to-sea, in the Northwest-Southeast direction, starting in Porto Moniz, at sea level, then crossing the mountains in the inland, and finally arriving again to sea level, in Machico.

The MIUT includes four races, all starting on April 28:

MIUT (115 km / 7200 D+) starting at 00:00 in the center of Porto Moniz. MIUT is part of the 2018 calendar of the UTWT – ULTRA-TRAIL WORLD TOUR as PRO race. This race is also part of the  Portuguese National Championship Ultra Endurance 2018;

ULTRA (85 km / 4700 D+) starting at 07:00 in the area of São Vicente;

MARATHON (42 km / 1750 D+), starting at 11:00 in Monte – Funchal;

MINI (16 Km / 375 D+), starting at 09:00 in the center of Porto da Cruz.
