Yesterday, the third mortal accident occurred on Monte Brento for a BASE jump. Leonardo Piatti from Pesaro, 39 years old, jumped from Becco dell’Aquila and to avoid a pillar, it seems he has opened the parachute but going against the rock for a sudden turn. Immediate but unfortunately useless the assistance.
In August, other two jumper, Maria Shipova and Abraham Cubo Lopez, died from Monte Brento.
