19 Jun Monte Rosa Sky Marathon 2021

The 2021 edition of the Monte Rosa Sky Marathon takes place on June 19.

The Monte Rosa Sky Marathon is the skyrunning race par excellence: 35 km and 3500 m D + (in a single climb), most of which on moraines, snowfields and glaciers. You participate in pairs, roped up on the glacier.

Once again the event will attract top athletes, international skyrunning stars and ski mountaineering champions to try the impossible challenge of breaking the records set in 1994 by Fabio Meraldi (4h24′) and Gisella Bendotti (5h34′).

The race starts at 6.00 from Alagna Valsesia (Piemonte, IT). The route culminates at Punta Gnifetti (4.554 m) and the finish is back in Alagna.
