08 Aug Sky-skier Fredrik Ericsson dies in K2

 
 
 
Explorersweb reports that swedish sky skier Eric Ericsson died yesterday in K2, during the ascent of thhe Bottleneck of the mountain.
 
This was the second Ericsson’s attempt to the second highest peak of the earth, the first being interrupted last june when his expedition’s mate Michele Fait died skiing in Cesen Route.
 
Fredrik Ericsson was born in Sweden and since many years based in Chamonix (France).
He was projecting the ski descent from the 3 highest mountain, Everest (8850m), K2 (8612m) and Kangchenjunga (8586m).
