Gerfried Göschl and his team (Canadian Louis Rousseau and Austrian Herbert Schütter, Sepp Bachmair and Hans Goger) summited Nanga Parbat,8125 meters, climbing a new route, but the members of the expedition were shocked by a sad event as their team mate Wolfgang Köblinger, didn’t return back to C4 from the summit yesterday.
Details on the event are still unclear, but unfortunately all attempts to find him have been unsuccessful so far.
Wolfgang Köblinger,55 years, previously ascended Shisha Pangma, Cho Oyu and Broad Peak and was climbing Nanga Parbat with the Kinshoffer route group
