Italian Mountain Guide from Val d’Aosta Matteo Giglio just climbed Chiacchere e distintivo a new and interesting modern route on the north of Addaura , a beautiful overhanging wall in the area of Monte Pellegrino (Palermo-Sicily).
On 2008 december Matteo Giglio climbed some pitches together with Federico Frassy, then on 2009 June – during two days – completed his job alone. The itinerary is 180 meters, 7b (6c obbligatory).
On the same wall of Addaura, left of the route of Giglio and Frassy, runs Ombra silenziosa 215 meters 6a/A3, an highly demanding line never climbed again, first ascented by the strong (and unfortunately died) Roby Manfrè Scuderi.
