On july 2009 Andrés Villar, Ramón Figueira and Daniel Herráez first climbed a new route on North Face of Naranjo de Bulnes 2519m (or Picu Urriellu, for Asturias) a beautiful peak of limestone situated in Central Massif of Picos de Europa, Asturias Spain.
The new itinerary , El último eslabón, is 710m long with difficulties of 6c/A2.
Andrés Villar performed an intense activity on Naranjo since 1985, first climbing 16 new routes on all the forth faces of the mountain.
According to Andrés, the route is the achievement of a long time project, and offers between the10th and 12th the most hard (and the most attractive of the all opened routes) pitches, on exposed cracks and demanding wall.
