On July 2009 Matthias Trottmann and Thomas Scheuner carried out the first ascent of "Piccola Spada" a beautiful route on the central part of Titlis North Wall (3238m), Engelberg – Switzerland.
The route – 11 pitches 400 meters 7a+ (6c+obl) – was climbed with no aid of fixed ropes and follows a nice line on very good rock.
In 2006 Matthias first climbed in Fürenwand – Engelberg, 6,4 Sekunden (170 m 8b+) and with Adrian Schiess carried out the first swiss repeat of Hotel Supramonte in Sardinia.
