Two men and a woman from Zurich and St Gallen (Switzerland) were killed saturday on Piz Palü, in the canton of Grisons after falling 400 meters over rock bands.
They aimed to summit the mountain via the normal route. According to the Rega rescue service, they were kept in the collapse of a corniche.
Piz Palü is a wonderful peak of Bernina group in the Raethian Western Alps, topped out every year by hundreds of ski tourers.
