14 Sep Wendenstock: Coelophysis’ first repeat

Paolo Spreafico – a talented Italian climber of the group Ragni di Lecco – made in August, together with Alessandro Passoni, the repeat of Coelophysis (2008) on the Mahren wall in Wendenstock.
The route (21 pitches 8a+ 7b obl.) was during 3 seasons established by Matteo Della Bordella, Fabio Palma and Adriano Selva .
Spreafico and Passoni climbed the route in two days.
Spreafico – that last year onsighted Alpenliebe (7c) at Tre cime di Lavaredo and Batman (7b+ 7a obl.) in Wenden – onsighted many pitches of Coelophysis, but didn’t redpointed the route.
