05 Jan Markus Pucher on Cerro Torre

December 30th, Austrian alpinist Markus Pucher did a wonderful free solo on Cerro Torre following the Via dei Ragni. This was the second time for Markus in this style but not in these incredible conditions.
On Markus facebook page, the first photos are now available and are very impressive, with a lot of snow and wind e very low visibility. An important thing is that Markus didn’t use the longe for his ice axes, cause for him these aren’t “ethical” during solo experience.
We wait now for a video that will be absolutely thrilling.
