03 Jun rally in riglos

 
Next saturday, june 6th,  Riglos –  the famous village of Mallos – will host  "12 horas de escalada en Riglos”. (12 hours climbing in Riglos). The aim of the meeting is to share feelings and  celebrate climbing in this extraordinary place. The impressive appearance of the Riglos rock formations has attracted climbing enthusiasts since 1929 or before and it remains a privileged place to practise this sport The peaks are also the home of many vultures  and some of  peaks are out of bounds for climbing because of nesting birds.The rules  of the 6th june competition are easy: wins who in 12 hours climbs more routes and makes better score; the itineraries are selected by the jury and every route has its score. Only rappeling for descents. Is requested to be able to climb 6b on bolted routes and V+ placing protections.
