After the accident of his frined Stan Leary, the climber and alpinisti Tim Emmett decided to close his carrer like BASE jumper. "A difficult decision" Tim wrote on hi s facebook page, "but I thibks it’s a wise thing. Only last year, 28 persons died for BASE jump and I could be one of them." Tim will dedicate himself only to climbing.
Tim and Stan were togheter also in Canada, Cirque of the Unclimbables, reported in the video.
In 2007, Emmett was nominated for the Piolet d’Or for his climb to Kedar Dome, with Ian Parnell. On the rock realized the first E10 in Wales with Mui Caliente! Also on ice and mix routes he is one of the strongest climbers in the world with the ascent of Spray On (WI 10, M9 +) and Wolverine (WI11).
