Tom Randall repeats”Laughing Arthur” E8

 
Upclimbing often reports on the talented British climber Tom Randall: this summer he spent one  months with Adam Bailes, Andy Asquith and  Pete Whittaker  in  Chamonix, Annot and Valle Orco, bagging  important repeats and new routes;  last summer was successful in the red-point of Greenspit crack in Valle Orco.

The video takes up the first ascent of One Infinity 8B, in Bathford, Somerset. The problem links the original All Elements (V11) into some pumpy lip traversing, to create perhaps one of the world’s hardest roof crack boulder problems.
 
Recently Tom  Randall, along with Bob Hickish, repeated after 22 years since the first ascent  two pitches of "Laughing Arthur” , E8,  considered one of the most difficult of the South-West of Britain,
