For competition around Mount Blanc.
Trail du Mont Blance (26th august) is a mountain race around Mount Blanc with numerous passages in high altitude (>2500m), in difficult weather conditions (night, wind, cold, rain or snow), that needs a very good training, adapted equipment and a real capacity of personal autonomy (166 km and 9400 m hight).

Courmayeur Champex Chamonix (26th august) is a race deep into wilderness using for the most the international path Grande Randonnée du Tour du Mont-Blanc. The start line at the centre of Courmayeur is tinged with an atmosphere that only Italians can provide (98 km e 5600 m hight).

TDS Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie (25th August), a race in open country along the Grande Randonnée paths crossing though the Mont-Blanc, Beaufort, Tarentaise and Aosta valley countryside ( 110 km and 7100 m hight).
La Petite Trotte à Léon (22th August), a great team adventure. A non competitive event, a  "grand" tour of Mont Blanc adding high passes, often higher than 2,500 metres and with some delicate passages. If you like solitude, solidarity and total adventure, that is the reason for trying it once (300 km and 25000 m hight).
Besides the race programmed, numerous animations take place, day and night, throughout the route, in every Commune and at the refreshment posts. Info and programme Utrailmb.
