The versatile Russian climber Yana Chereshneva has done Skif, 8c in Nikita and Parallel’niy mir 8b + Here the video of Skif
Yana has twice won the world youths and participated successfully in Lead, Boulder and Speed international competitions. She belongs to a true “vertical” family”: her father Oleg Chereshnev, is a former athlete of the Russian climbing team, ranked second in the World Cup of ice in 1993; in 2009 at the age of 46, has onsighted two 8a+ and two 8a’s in Rodellar. Her mother Venera was third in Speed World Championship 1993, forth in Lead World Championship 1997 and took part with excellent results in Boulder WCs .
