Ganesh! The hardest italian boulder!!!
Elias Iagnemma climbs his project in Tintorale02 February 2022
With a proposal of 8C+, this new line in Abruzzo could be the most difficult boulder problem in Italy, but also one of the most challenging in the world.
He had announced it on the occasion of his ascent of Der Mit Dem Fels Tanzt and only a couple of days passed before Elias Iagnemma sent his mega project in Tintorale, the Abruzzo sandstone area that he and his companions have begun to develop in recent months.
After discovering it in May, Elias began the hard work to clean a boulder on which he identified an exceptional, extreme and perfect line for an emerging young man like him, who is increasingly demonstrating his great value on an international level.
After the frequent hard ascents of the last recent months, including Gioia in Varazze, Kimera at Rifugio Barbara and a total of ten 8C boulders, the next step beyond arrives in the best possible way, with a first ascent that is not just a demonstration of his incredible level, but also of that charisma and creativity that make the difference in bouldering.
Iagnemma needed a dozen sessions to close his project, and the FA arrived yesterday thus giving life to Ganesh, for which Elias proposes the 8C+, stating that it is the most difficult boulder he has climbed. With Gioia already in his palmares (for which he proposed an 8C/+ with the kneebar method he used) this means that Ganesh is right now the hardest boulder in Italy and one of the hardest in the world.
We look forward to a few more images and a video that will better show us this new extreme Italian line.
