...in less than one year!21 April 2022
The American climber continues to impress with her very high and constant level
That in the United States there are most of the strongest girls of bouldering of the world is a fact: Alex Puccio, Isabelle Faus, Brooke Raboutou, Michaela Kiersch, Natalia Grossman, Allison Vest and of course Katie Lamb!
The latter in particular is experiencing truly successful months and she is probably the first of all that managed to climb four 8B+ boulders in just a few months. At the end of July 2021 the first with Jade in the RMNP, followed shortly after by New Base Line in Magic Wood and finally, in January, by Direct North in Buttermilks.
In these days, Katie has finally achieved the fourth one in the Washington state by climbing The Penrose Step in just eleven tries distributed in two sessions: a line sent in 2013 by Carlo Traversi and one of the most iconic in the Leavenworth area and which already boasted female repetitions by Anna Stöhr and Alex Puccio. In addition to this line, in the past few days Lamb also climbed the 8B of Lost and Found in Yosemite.
A remarkable growth and a level that seems to go even further, making her ready for the next step ...
